Zee News reports: Minister of State (External Affairs) VK Singh has again stirred up a controversy by saying that overseeing the evacuation of Indians from war-torn Yemen is less exciting than going to the Pakistani embassy.

Singh, former Army chief, who is camping in Djibouti to oversee evacuation of Indians from Yemen, made the comments early Tuesday while briefing the media about the rescue operation of fellow citizens.

Singh termed the evacuation process a difficult task and said that the government is trying its best to evacuate as many people as soon as possible.

Last month, Singh had raked up a controversy by tweeting with the hashtag "DISGUST" after attending the Pakistan Day celebrations in New Delhi.

Singh had said that he was asked by the government to represent it at the Pakistan National Day reception at the Pakistani High Commission here.
