Bombay HC puts off beef ban plea to April 20

The Bombay high court, which on Monday heard a clutch of petitions filed against the Maharashtra Animal Preservation (Amendment) Act that bans the slaughter of bulls and bullocks and criminalises the possession of beef, has postponed the hearing to April 20. The court also declined to grant any interim relief in the matter.
