Three soldiers killed in ambush in Arunachal

Three soldiers were killed and four others were injured in an ambush in Tirap district in southern Arunachal Pradesh, near the Indo-Myanmar border. The attack took place at around 8:30 am this morning near Old Tupi Village, which is about 530 km from capital Itanagar.
The soldiers in the four-vehicle convoy were going towards Longding when the attack took place.
The soldiers had moved from Lekhapani in Assam and were headed to Longding after staying overnight at a transit camp in Konsa. Read more
