India, US extend defence agreement for 10 years

India and US have decided to renew the framework agreement for defence cooperation for a further 10 years. The US will cooperate as knowledge partner for India's planned National Defence University, the External Affairs Ministry said.

"I want to welcome US defence companies to invest in India," PM Modi said after his meet with Barack Obama.
