Barack Obama dines with Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met US President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and other key US officials at the White House for a private dinner, ahead of his formal talks in the Oval Office. Ministry of external affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin addressed the press after the dinner. He revealed that Obama greeted Modi with a 'kem cho, Mr PM.' The spokesperson added that the two had a 90-minute meeting It was a 90-minute meeting in which the PM laid out his hopes and aspirations, his development vision. They agreed to take up more substantive issues later.
