At least a good, secular note to end on -- and something that concerns, or should concern, most of India -- the Ganga Action Plan.
Never mind the school-level entertainment, Modi's 90-minute speech was what kept the 18,000-strong crowd at MSG on their feet, cheering at every sentence the PM spoke.
