State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee on Sunday afternoon arrived at the residence of the Jadavpur University student who was molested on August 28.

Strangely, he was accompanied by Trinamool Students' Federation secretary Shankudev Panda. Both refused to speak to the media.

While a section of political analysts think that the duo attempted to goad the molested student's family to take part in the rally to be organised by Trinamool Congress, others think it's a desperate damage control move by the government.
