Why did China change its envoy days before Xi's visit?

So, how often does an ambassador get changed a few days ahead of a head of state's visit? Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed an ambassador to India according to a statement from the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Tuesday. Le Yucheng was appointed ambassador to India, replacing Wei Wei.
