Right now, the PM and Xi are on a stroll at the Sabarmati waterfront. The Sabarmati waterfront project was inaugurated in 2013 by LK Advani and Narendra Modi, then Gujarat CM. The project was undertaken in order to promote tourism and preserve the river.
