Obama identifies 22 drug-producing or transit countries

US President Barack Obama has identified 22 countries, including India and Pakistan, as major illicit drug-producing or drug-transit countries. While identifying the 22 countries, Obama also determined that three of them -- Bolivia, Burma, and Venezuela -- as nations which have "failed demonstrably" during the last twelve months to make sufficient or meaningful efforts to adhere to their international obligations in this regard.
