If ISIS is allowed to continue, it will be a threat to 'our homeland': Hagel

US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel and Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, warned the Congress about the looming threat that ISIS poses.

The Islamic State has been brutalising people in that region. It has murdered on video two American journalists and a British aid worker. Hagel said that if the IS is allowed to fester, it will threaten "our homeland", CNN reports.
