Small earthquake rattles Northern California

A small earthquake rattled parts of Northern California. The US Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.5 quake struck yesterday at 1:17 pm (local time) about six miles (10 kilometres) south of Covelo in Mendocino County. The epicenter was about 120 miles (193 kilometres) from west of Sacramento. No damage was reported.
