Feud within Sanjay Singh's family over Amethi Palace turns violent

Tensions escalated in Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday as the feud within Congress MP and royal Sanjay Singh's family turned violent. A police constable was injured during the clash and he later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident took place after Singh and his second wife Ameeta were not allowed to enter the ancestral property Bhupati Bhawan.

The supporters of his first wife Garima Singh's son allegedly prevented the couple from entering the palace.The mob turned violent and police resorted to lathicharge to contain the situation. Read more
