Sania-Soares win US Open mixed doubles title

India's Sania Mirza and her Brazilian partner Bruno Soares won the US Open mixed doubles title after a hard-fought victory over Abigail Spears of US and Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico in the final, in New York, on Friday.

Sania and Soares registered a thrilling 6-1, 2-6, 11-9 victory in the title clash.
