High alert on major airports across India

NDTV reports: Major airports across the country are on high alert after an anonymous letter warned of an attack on a flight from Mumbai to Kochi.

Though officials believe the letter is a hoax, more detailed security checks are being conducted as precaution.

At Kochi, a bomb disposal squad is on stand-by at the airport, along with Anti-Hijacking Unit of the Central Industrial Security Force.
