BJP senior leader Prakash Javdekar speaking to NDTV says the BJP has entered the three figure club on its own (leads in 114 seats in Maharashtra at this hour).

Javdekar says that the BJP has emerged as the single largest party in both Haryana and Maharashtra. "The way the whole team has worked and the way the people have responded has worked. Voter choice, behaviour has changed -- they are voting for progress and honest leadership," he said.

On being asked about a coalition govt with the Shiv Sena, Javdekar said,
"It's not about our efforts to reach out to Shiv Sena. We had and have the highest resepct for Balasaheb (Bal Thackeray). If he was alive the alliance would not have broken. We still have goodwill for them. It is now for them to respond."
