BJP's Nalin Kohli plays safe. Says that the question of government formation would depend on final numbers. "We will have to wait till 2 pm," he says.  BJP senior leaders will meet in Delhi at 1 pm, while the BJP Parliamentary Board meets at 6 pm.

It's likely to be a hung assembly in Maharashtra. BJP has reached out to both NCP and the Shiv Sena, but the state BJP does not want an alliance with the NCP -- it's more of a directive from the Centre, which is 'keen' on a NCP meet.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar holds a a meet of senior leaders -- Supriya Sule, Praful Patel, Ajit Pawar (wins Baramati seat by 60,000 votes).

Sena on possibility of reunion with BJP says that Uddhav Thackeray will take decision in Maharashtra's best interest.
