Most of the questions at the presser are predictably on which party the BJP will go with to form government in Maharashtra.

Shah says over and over again that the BJP never broke the alliance with the Sena.

"We lost such an old alliance only because of three seats. But we never broke the alliance," he says. "We want to go with our allies, but it does not mean that it will be at the cost of sacrificing our workers.

"Wait a few hours, everything will be clear," Shah says on govt formation.

"BJP fought on 90 seats all by ourselves in Haryana and won. Even in Maharashtra we contesting alone. After the LS polls these were the polls in two large states and BJP won in both states. We never tried to break relations and alliance with Shiv Sena."
