Jaya was represented in court by Fali Nariman

Jayalalithaa was earlier denied bail by the Karnataka High Court. Jayalalithaa moved the Supreme Court after the Karnataka High Court rejected her bail plea two weeks ago. She was represented in court today by Constitution expert Fali Nariman.

The 66-year-old has sought bail on account of her age and health. She said she suffers from diabetes, hypertension, cellulitis and other ailments.
