Urging the people of Maharashtra to come out and vote in huge numbers to bring much needed change in the state, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pankaja Munde on Wednesday expressed confidence that her party will be able to reach majority on its own.

"I want to say to the people of Maharashtra that this time they should bring change. Change of power in Maharashtra was my father's dream. Hope that the change that took place in the national elections will be reflected in the state elections as well. Unless the people come out and vote in huge numbers till then the nation won't change," Munde told ANI in Beed.

The daughter of late union minister Gopinath Munde was confident about BJP reaching majority. "I think BJP will be close to attain majority," she said.
