Lt.Guv Najeeb Jung announces Rs1 Crore to the next of kin of Delhi Police Constable Jagbir Singh who was killed in Vijay Vihar area recently. This is the second time that a cop has been paid a Rs 1 crore compensation. In December 2013, when Arvind Kejriwal was the Delhi CM, he had announced a Rs 1-crore compensation for the family of a police constable who was allegedly beaten to death by suspected liquor mafia.
