A line of women's leggings carrying images of Hindu gods and goddesses available for purchase on Amazon.com, seems to have upset some Hindus who have demanded that the website remove those leggings from its site immediately, calling them inappropriate. A member of the group, called Universal Society of Hinduism, said that Hindu gods were not to be worn around one's legs, crotch and hips. The group has also asked for a formal apology from the online retailer.
