Hudhud weakens into deep depression over Chhattisgarh

Cyclone Hudhud today weakened into a deep depression and lay centred over south Chhattisgarh and its neighbourhood, according to the meteorological centre in Bhubaneswar.
Hudhud, which had already weakened into a cyclonic storm, moved northwestwards and weakened further into a deep depression and lay centered over south Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood, about 90 km northwest of Jagdalpur and 190 km south of Raipur, it said.
It would further move north-northwestwards, weaken into a depression in the next six hours and finally into a well marked low pressure area during the subsequent six hours, it said.
