Hit-and-run case: Key witness says Salman Khan was driving SUV

Just in: Setback for Salman Khan in the hit and run case.

A former parking assistant working at the JW Marriott hotel identifies Salman Khan and says the actor was in fact driving the car which mowed down people. He tells the court that Salman got behind the white Landcruiser.

One person was killed and four injured in the 2002 incident. The witness says Salman was accompanied by three people.

The witness, in his statement to the court, said that Salman was on the driving seat, while leaving the hotel premises on that night.

The 48 year-old actor is accused of driving his SUV onto a pavement in Bandra on September 28, 2002, leading to the death of one person and injuring four others.
