Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs M Venkaiah Naidu has begun to meet political leaders in both houses of Parliament with a set of new initiatives. Naidu plans to circulate the agenda well in advance of the Winter session of Parliament after which there will be an all-party meeting for two days where the items in the agenda will be deliberated.

This will unburden not only the government, but also pave the way for the Opposition to strategise their political formulations.

The government hopes the initiative will reduce the tense moments and scenes in both houses.
