Modi likely to invite Indian-origin dignitaries for Republic Day celebrations

For next year's Republic Day celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has some new ideas. The Prime Minister's Office wants to invite dignitaries, who either have Indian origins or have expressed love and affection for Indian culture. Keeping this in mind, the dignitaries from Mauritius and Fiji may be invited and decision in the same will be taken by next week.
