Rajnath Singh raises issue of ISIS at DGP meet

Addressing top cops at the DGP meet in Guwahati, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that it was a concern that youngsters of India were being attracted to the cause of the Islamic State.

The minister said, "There are some misguided youth who are getting attracted to join organisations like the ISIS. This is a concern." Singh added that threats posed by groups such as the ISIS and the Al Qaeda should not be taken lightly and should be taken up as a challenge.

The home minister also paid tribute to those soldiers who had sacrificed their life in the line of duty.
