Minor tremor felt in Banaskantha district of Gujarat

An earthquake, measuring 3 on the Richter scale, tonight jolted many parts of Banaskantha district in the state, officials said. According to the official website of `Institute of Seismological Research, the tremor was felt near Dantiwada and Pathawada, around 23 km north-east from Deesa town, in Bansakantha.

Banaskantha Collector Dilipkumar Rana said there were no reports of any damage. A team of taluka development officer had been sent to Dantiwada, he said.
