Five Indian fishermen on death handed over to High Commission in Lanka

The five Indian fishermen have been handed over to the Indian High Commissioner in Colombo and are awaiting a transfer home. They will not need to serve jail time in India as reported earlier.

TKS Elangovan, DMK, says, "Our leader (M Karunanidhi) has already appreciated efforts made by the PM, we are happy."
