5 Tamil Nadu fishermen imprisoned in Sri Lanka to be released

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa is willing to pardon the five fishermen on death row from Tamil Nadu and release them. The five had been arrested on drug trafficking charges and sentenced to death. Sri Lankan minister Ganesan confirming the news said that the president would be pardoning the fishermen and releasing them without any conditions.
