Bird hits Ahmedabad-Mumbai flight carrying 116 passengers

A Mumbai-bound GoAir plane, carrying 116 passengers, landed under emergency conditions at the Ahmedabad airport today, after a bird hit it minutes after its take-off, an airport official said.

The incident occurred after the flight took off at 9.15 am when it was at a height of around 300 feet, officials said.
