TRS calls for bandh in Telangana tomorrow

TRS president and Telangana Chief Minister-elect K Chandrasekhar Rao has called for a shutdown in the region tomorrow in protest against the Centre's reported move to issue an ordinance merging certain villages in Khammam district into residuary Andhra Pradesh. The villages in seven mandals in Khammam district allegedly face submergence due to Polavaram multi-purpose irrigation project.
