LIVE! Uma Bharti defends Smriti: What is Sonia's educational qualification?

Minister of water resources, river development and Ganga rejuvenation, Uma Bharati hits back at the Congress for its snide remarks against Smriti Irani. Defending the new HRD minister, who has targetted over not being a graduate, Bharti said, "What is the educational qualification of Sonia Gandhi that she was heading UPA Govt? Sonia Gandhi should tell her MPs not to make such statements."

Yesterday Congress leader Ajay Maken tweeted, "What a Cabinet of Modi? HRD Minister (Looking after Education) Smriti Irani is not even a graduate! Look at her affidavit at ECI site pg 11."

Bharti has been assigned an unfinished task initiated 28 years ago by former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi: cleansing the Ganga river.
