Senior Supreme Court lawyer Mukul Rohatgi is set to be the country's next top law officer while another senior lawyer Ranjit Kumar is expected to be appointed Solicitor General.Sources in the government said both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley have decided to offer the post of Attorney General (AG) to Rohatgi. Outgoing AG Goolam E Vahanvati resigned on Tuesday.
