Kejriwal to meet AAP's Delhi volunteers tomorrow

With fresh Delhi assembly polls likely to be held soon, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal will address volunteers tomorrow with the aim to boost their morale after the party's drubbing in the just-concluded Lok Sabha elections.

The meeting with the Delhi volunteers has been organised at the Constitution Club tomorrow evening, where the AAP chief is expected to address their concerns and queries, party sources said.

This will be Kejriwal's first meeting with volunteers after the Lok Sabha polls.

The meeting was slated to be held last week, but had to be cancelled after Kejriwal was sent to Tihar Jail for refusing to furnish personal bond in a defamation suit filed by former BJP president Nitin Gadkari.

Volunteers form the backbone of the party and had played a crucial role in its victory in the last assembly elections, and now the party aims to rejuvenate its volunteers after the electoral drubbing, the sources said.
