Gadkaris birthday gift: leave from Cabinet meeting

Today is Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari's 57th birthday, which he celebrated in New Delhi in the morning. However, soon after, he left the capital for his hometown, Nagpur, with permission from the prime minister. He will be missing from this evening's Cabinet meeting, the NDA government's first, in South Block.
