What BJP ally Shiv Sena thinks of Sharif's nod?

Key NDA constituent Shiv Sena, which has been vocal against Pakistan for "sponsoring" terrorism in India, today chose to remain mum on its Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accepting the invite to attend Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony on May 26.

Shiv Sena spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut declined to comment when asked about his party's reaction to Sharif accepting the invitation to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Earlier this week, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackarey had said the new government should adopt an aggressive "tit-for-tat" policy towards Pakistan. Thackeray, who was in Delhi on Tuesday for a meeting of the NDA that chose Modi as its Parliamentary Party leader, had said India should teach Pakistan a "lesson" if it created trouble for the country.
