Pak PM Nawaz Sharif likely to attend Modi's do

The announcement of Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif attending the swearing ceremony of Narendra Modi is expected to made at 2 pm today.

Sharif's arrival schedule is not fixed, and if he does visit, it will be for a very short duration. Modi is expected to hold 30-minute meetings with all SAARC leaders who attend the swearing-in ceremony. 

Sharif is believed to be personally keen to attend Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony, but has to go through a process of 'consultation'.

Yesterday, Pakistan foreign office confirmed the invitation had been received, no formal announcement has yet been made.
