Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi today condemned the attack on Indian consulate in Herat province of Afghanistan and said he is closely monitoring the situation. Modi, who is in New Delhi ahead of his swearing-in on Monday, said he spoke to Indian Ambassador in Afghanistan Amar Sinha following the attack this morning.
