Modi to get lessons in Andhra bifurcation on Monday

ESL Narasimhan, the governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi on May 26. Modi will be sworn in by President Pranab Mukherjee as India's 15th prime minister at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Narasimhan will use this occasion to brief the new government, especially Modi and the new home minister, on the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into Seemandhra and Telangana.

On Thursday, Narasimhan directed the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh to brief details on the bifurcation to the new Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana's first CM, K Chandrasekhar Rao.
