Just in: Narendra Modi resigns as Gujarat CM. Modi has given in his resignation to governor Kamla Beniwal. Modi has yet to resign from the Gujarat assembly. The BJP is all set to name Anandiben Patel as the next chief minister of Gujarat, but a formal announcement is yet to be made. The appointment will be made tomorrow.
