OK, buzz from the Congress HQ at 24 Akbar Road, Delhi, is that Punjab deputy CM, Sukhbir Badal, entered into a secret deal with Amarinder Singh to get his wife Harsimrat Kaur elected from Bhatinda.

We are also being told that a former finance secretary was seen meeting senior BJP leaders with a plea to make him Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. There is speculation whether the BJP will keep Raghuram Rajan, an UPA appointee as the governor or replace him.
