DMK cadres hold protests outside the residence of M K Satlin asking him not to resign.

Stalin, son of DMK chief Karunanidhi, had offered to quit from all party posts after the poll debacle in Tamil Nadu. Stalin is the party treasurer and heads its youth wing.

The DMK failed to win a single seat out of the 34 it contested in Tamil Nadu.
