Amid chants of Modi Modi, the PM designate says, "Nobody thought the lotus would bloom in Delhi, but it is because of your hard work (BJP workers) that this has been possible. The credit should go not to Modi, but the to lakhs of BJP workers who worked hard to made it possible. It is the hard work of generations who wanted to make this possible. It is the victory of those who sacrificed their lives to make this possible."

This comes as a slap on the face for the Congress and other detractors who have said that Modi is bigger than the party.
