Omar: Important lessons to be learnt from this verdict, not the end of NC

Presser after presser... Omar Abdullah 's turn now: "This is not the press conference I expected myself to be giving today. There were ample positives that were done in the last five years that should have been part of the election campaign, but we didn't do it. It is time for me to accept total responsibility. We hope the PDP and th BJP can adequately represent the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in Parliament. There are important lessons to be learnt from this verdict. This is not the end of the National Conference."

The results for J-K of a total of 6 seats: PDP: 3, BJP: 2, NC: 0, Others: 1.
