Congress wins 35 Assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh

Facing a rout all over the country, Congress retained power in Arunachal Pradesh by winning 35 seats and securing a majority in the 60-member Assembly. According to the results declared so far, Congress has bagged 35 seats, including 11 uncontested, and leading in 5. BJP won four seats and was leading in five.
