LIVE! On Saturday: Modi victory lap in Delhi, maha aarti in Varanasi

On Saturday, a day after the Lok Sabha results are announced, Narendra Modi will arrive in New Delhi. Modi will arrive in Delhi by a special aircraft at 13:30 hours. And from there, begins the massive road show from the the airport to the BJP HQ at 11 Ashok Road, with Modi doing the victory lap in an open jeep.

At the airport, 25,000 BJP workers are expected to welcome him. Modi will meet LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and other senior leaders.

At 4 pm, Modi will head to Varanasi where he will perform the maha aarti which the Election Commission had banned last week.

TN CM Jayalalitha is also expected to attend Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony in New Delhi.
