EC keeps hawk eye on Varanasi polling

Vicky Nanjappa @ Varanasi: EC says no campaign material will be allowed 100 meters near the booth. Unwarranted assembly of people will not be allowed. Only one polling agent per candidate allowed at the booth.

‎EC officials say that all EVMs in Varanasi have been checked and are working fine.

"We have gone out of our way to ensure a free and fair poll," says special observer Praveen Kumar.

"All security measures are in place. More importantly we want all to get a chance to vote and there should be no violence."
