UP: 13 killed as train hits jeep at unmanned crossing

Thirteen people were todaykilled and three others seriously injured when a train rammedinto a jeep at a unmanned railway crossing in Kothipur area in Maharajganj in UP.

The incident took place at 1 am when the jeep carrying 16persons was returning from a marriage function, police said.

While 13 people died on the spot, three others wererushed to a hospital where their condition stated to be theserious. Further details are awaited
