Sonia quits as NAC chief

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has demitted the office of the National Advisory Council. The position of Sonia Gandhi, as chairman, was
co-terminus with the exit of UPA2. She conveyed her exit to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, informally, on Tuesday when the full bench of the NAC said farewell when they called on him at 7, Racecourse Road.
